Mrs. Metzgar is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Damaris Bronson, M.Ed., LPC
Mrs. Bronson is a Licensed Professional Counselor. With 16 years in the mental health profession, she employs modalities of CBT, Client-centered, EMDR, and Solution-focused therapies. Her strengths include working through traumatic experiences and progressing in client directed goals. Damaris works with adolescents, adults, and couples. Damaris works with clients who experience; anxiety, depression, loss/grief, communication, survivors of trauma, and domestic violence. Damaris has a background in trauma work, and has completed basic EMDR certification.
Damaris uses an integrative approach considering the aspects of mind, body and spirit and the connections between them. She believes the counseling process may open up levels of awareness that could cause pain and anxiety as clients address them. The process of change may be difficult and could cause disruption or discomfort in life. While working through the discomfort, there is the potential to yield meaningful personal benefits. A client always has the right to refuse to participate in certain therapeutic techniques. She has a high regard for the therapeutic relationship and believes in a client-centered approach. Ms. Winters is a masters-level clinician and holds a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She has over four years of experience in the clinical mental health profession and is an active member of the American Counseling Association. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and couples. Her specialties include: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, intimate partner violence, spiritual abuse, and multicultural concerns.
Tomi uses a person-centered, collaborative, strength-based approach to support clients who want to build their inner-strength, develop resilience, and experience post-traumatic growth. She strongly believes in the connection between body, mind, spirit, and heritage. Tomi utilizes interpersonal process therapy, CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy. |
